Working from home looking Basement Professional

Updated: Jan 12, 2021

I don't know about you, but I've been working from home for quite a while now, well, at least since covid started. Over that time, I changed my office built desks put up walls, made shelves tried to make it as comfortable as possible. But with the mix of trying to get your kids to do work, try not to be distracted by outside jobs not pertaining to your job has been challenging. I've been doing all types of interviews, and Skype phone calls zoom phone calls, you name it if it's a phone call a tap and enter via video.

But as I've changed everything around, I felt like I've made my space almost too cluttered, and I find myself going to other areas to do zoom videos because it looks like I live in my basement.

So when I started doing was making backdrops, and I did it just by hanging pieces of paper that I found from like Walmart or target and hanging him up on my background. But then I discovered this company called Star Backdrop. And for roughly $25 I was able to buy backdrops and then hang him, and then I could roll 'em up and save him, and I did the math. It's almost what I was paying for the time in the effort to put pieces of paper together to make the backdrop and tape in rigging it to hang it was cheaper to buy a backdrop so now I've been buying all kinds of backgrounds and it's pretty funny, and it looks better than just a sheet.

So yeah, working at home, I've learned a lot, and I continue today after day; it's tough, but it's nice to know that there are sometimes ways around some of the things that take so much time and effort. And this is one of those things that's helped me a lot. Plus, it just gives me a sense of feeling like I'm somewhere else.

Yeah, that's my tip for the day; that's all I got. Keep working strong!
